Caren Johnson joined GuideOne in May 2011 and currently serves as Senior Litigation Counsel handling administrative claims before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board and the Insurance Commission in Southern California. Prior to joining GuideOne, Caren worked as Staff Attorney for State Compensation Insurance Fund handling Workers Compensation claims and serving as a Union representative for three of the legal units. Caren supervises a team of five Workers' Compensation attorneys in California and one Workers' Compensation attorney in New York.

Caren graduated from Stanford University in 1998 and obtained her Juris Doctorate degree from University of California, Los Angeles in 2002 where she received the American Trial Attorney Association's Award for Trial Advocacy. She has been admitted to practice in California since 2005. Caren was certified as a Workers? Compensation Specialist by the California State Bar in 2022.

Caren and her husband are the proud parents of five beautiful children. She enjoys reading, watching college sports and traveling.
