Richard brings well over thirty years of litigation practice experience to the table. He obtained both his Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctorate degrees from Louisiana State University. He most recently served as a Litigation Partner in private practice in Lafayette, LA.

He has a focused and well-rounded insurance defense background, including commercial and general liability, medical malpractice, construction litigation, contracts, municipal and governmental entity liability, automobile/trucking liability, premises liability, products liability, as well as general litigation. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit; U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana; and all Louisiana State courts. He has tried an extensive amount of cases to both juries and the bench. Richard is a member of the Lafayette Parish and Louisiana State Bar Associations and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.
