Chris Ehresman joined the GuideOne team in April, 2019 to serve as Litigation Counsel in Tennessee and Mississippi. Chris leads the employment practices group, and he also handles other matters including institutional sexual misconduct, wrongful death, breach of contract/bad faith, and pre-suit investigations. Prior to joining GuideOne, Chris defended commercial lines insureds involved in wrongful death, products liability, construction negligence, premises liability, and professional malpractice actions, and he represented accounting professionals in investigations conducted by the SEC and DOL. Chris has first-chaired more than forty civil cases to verdict and has arbitrated more than 150 cases.

Chris is currently admitted to practice in Illinois, Tennessee, Mississippi, the Northern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of Tennessee, the Middle District of Tennessee, the Western District of Tennessee, the Northern District of Mississippi, the Southern District of Mississippi, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit.

Outside of practicing law, Chris enjoys coaching his sons' sports teams, designing and building furniture, and traveling with his family.
