Melissa R. Null has been employed with GuideOne Insurance since 2015 and currently serves as Litigation Counsel for the state of Missouri. She has tried several jury trials to verdict and has successfully argued multiple times in front of the Missouri Court of Appeals. Melissa has an AV^® Preeminent™ Peer Rating with Martindale-Hubbell. She has also been selected through peer recognition and professional achievement for inclusion in the Missouri & Kansas Rising Stars, as published by Super Lawyers^® magazine, each year since 2012. Prior to joining GuideOne, Melissa worked at a mid-sized law firm where she focused her practice on insurance defense litigation, premises liability matters, and employment law.

In 2001, Melissa graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with dual degrees in English and Psychology. She received her law degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law in 2004. During law school she served as Associate Managing Editor of the Missouri Law Review and as Chair of the Board of Advocates. Melissa is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Illinois, the United States District Court for Southern Illinois, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri.
