Claudia P. Lovas, Senior Litigation Counsel

Claudia P. Lovas has been employed with GuideOne Insurance since 2010, and currently serves as Senior Litigation Counsel. Her duties include the handling of all aspects of New York general liability litigation. Prior to joining GuideOne, Claudia gained experience in numerous areas of the law including handling a broad range of of labor law, professional liability, product liability and employment law. In the empoyment law arena, Claudia has represented employers on claims alleging harrassment, discrimination, and retaliation predicated on race, sex, religion, ethnicity, age and all other protected categories at the state and local levels. She has also assisted professionals on risk management and employment law.

Claudia obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2000, which was preceded by a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1997. She is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York, the United States District Courts for teh Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and New York State Trial Lawyers Association and is fluent in Spanish.

Claudia and her husband, Robert, presently reside in Long Beach, New York, with their son Adrian and daughter Ava.
