Robert V. Fodera joined GuideOne Insurance in 2017 and currently serves as Litigation Counsel for New Jersey representing GuideOne and its insureds. Prior to joining GuideOne, Bob was a partner in a private regional law firm where he devoted his practice to defending the insureds of several national insurance companies in various diverse and complex claims. Notably, he defended a contractor against an $80 million fire claim by a casino operator in Atlantic City. He handles litigation from inception through trial and appeal. Bob has more than seventeen years of experience defending property owners, churches, contractors, employers and municipalities. Bob is admitted to practice in the states of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania, as well as several United States District Courts in those states, including the Supreme Court of the United States of America.

From 1991 to 1999, Bob held numerous senior positions in New York City government as a member of the Dinkins and Giuliani Administrations where he spearheaded innovative projects which improved and re-engineered many of the City's core services. Bob received his Bachelor of Arts from Pace University in 1988, his Masters in Public Administration from Columbia University in 1991 and his law degree from Rutgers University Law School in 1997.

Bob is the proud parent of three children and devotes time to the Boy Scouts of America as an Assistant Scoutmaster for a local Boy Scout Troop. Bob is a member of the Hunterdon County Bar Association and past president of the Clinton Sunrise Rotary Club.
